Welcome!

Russ and I have been mountain biking together now for a while, and now that we're married, it makes more sense to call this "our" page. However, I will dig up some of my old stuff that may not include him :-( but is still worth looking at :-)

This page has commentary (no way!), lots of biking pictures, and even more commentary. I really love to bike, and I'm lucky that Russ (my husband) will even hit the trails with me despite how much walking it means for the both of us.

We ride to enjoy the trails. We've gone bird watching, meditating, wowing at the views, enjoying the downhills, and even walking some (less than before!) of the uphills. Still working on that getting in shape thing.

My own riding jaunts have taken me through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, California, and even Finland. Russ has ridden with me in a lot of California, and hopefully some other places in the future. :-)

As I am ever trying to improve my riding, I have owned several different bikes over the years. My current trusty steed is a bike that fits me and my riding needs (a Hammerhead 100x, which is a modified Titus Racer-X). I have rented bikes when I'm away from home, but I would prefer to take my own ride with me.

I will have pics of Russ' trusty steed as well, as long as he doesn't make me laugh for taking pics of his bike. Anyway, these are the chronicles of our rides, along with some other interesting characters...

I do maintain a local mountain bike list for those in the Bay Area who are looking for an easy pace to ride at. I love what ROMP does for the local trails, but there's no way on earth I can keep up with them on the sponsored rides.
